Every great project begins with a simple question. What if we could help someone turn a dream into reality?
That question became the foundation of Dare to Dream Argentina, a Timeless Passion initiative created to discover and support real people with real sporting ambitions.
After launching successful Timeless Passion activities in Sri Lanka and supporting sports communities through our events and partnerships, we wanted to take the next step. We wanted to create something bigger. Something personal. Something capable of changing a life.
So we turned our attention to Argentina.
Looking for Real Stories
The concept was simple.
We invited people from across Argentina to share their sporting dreams. No professional athletes were required. No trophies were necessary. We were looking for passion, determination, and authentic stories. Participants were asked to create a video, tell us about their journey, and show us what sport means to them.
What happened next exceeded every expectation.
Over the following weeks, we received dozens of inspiring submissions. Stories of sacrifice, discipline, resilience, and ambition arrived from all corners of the country. Each story was different. Each story mattered. And if it had been possible, we would have loved to support every single one of them.
One Story That Touched Argentina
Among all the submissions, one story stood out.
Not only to our team, but to thousands of people across Argentina.
Ticiano Benavidez, a 13-year-old runner from Santa Fe, shared a simple but powerful message.
He lives with autism.
For him, running is more than a sport.
It is confidence.
It is freedom.
It is a way of finding himself.
His video quickly became one of the most viewed and shared submissions of the campaign. The support from the public was overwhelming. Messages of encouragement poured in, proving that his story resonated far beyond our project. What impressed us most was not the number of views. It was his mindset.
Ticiano showed that determination can be stronger than limitations. He demonstrated that dreams remain possible when passion refuses to give up.
Turning Support Into Action
Selecting a winner was never going to be easy. But after reviewing every submission and considering the impact each story created, we knew that Ticiano embodied everything Dare to Dream Argentina was designed to celebrate.
Today, we are proud to support his journey.
Through Timeless Passion, we will invest up to 4,000,000 Argentine pesos into helping Ticiano pursue his sporting goals. This support may include competitions, training, equipment, travel, accommodation, and special projects designed around his development as an athlete. Most importantly, this support will be tailored specifically to his journey.
Because every dream is different.
This is not the end of the story.
It is only the beginning.
Over the coming months, we will document Ticiano's progress, support his participation in key races, and work together to create experiences that help him reach new milestones. One of those milestones could be his first-ever 21-kilometre race, a challenge he is currently preparing for with dedication and determination.
