Why We Started Timeless Passion
Timeless Passion was never meant to be a marketing campaign.
It was built to show what happens when a global iGaming company steps outside the digital world and engages directly with real people, real stories, and real challenges.
Sri Lanka was the perfect starting point.
Cricket is deeply woven into the country’s identity.
With millions of active players and tens of thousands of amateur teams, cricket represents unity, ambition, and community spirit.
Timeless Passion set out to honor that.
What Is the Timeless Passion Challenge?
The idea behind the challenge was simple:
Participants recorded a short video showing their passion for cricket.
They posted it on TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook.
They tagged @timelesspassion_sports and used #TimelessPassionChallenge.
The most passionate entry, determined by energy, creativity, and engagement, would receive a prize valued at LKR 700,000 in jerseys and cricket equipment.
The goal was to celebrate grassroots cricket and give amateur players the recognition they deserve.
A Slow Start – and Then a Breakthrough
The challenge launched on September 1.
For the first two weeks, participation was minimal.
A few posts appeared, but the momentum had not yet started.
That changed when we partnered with Fluencr and a group of Sri Lankan content creators who understood the local cricket culture.
Their involvement brought credibility, visibility, and trust.
One video went viral, and everything shifted.
Suddenly, Sri Lanka responded.
The challenge began to spread organically.
Notifications multiplied, teams started tagging us constantly, and our inboxes filled faster than we could open them.
Timeless Passion was no longer an idea.
It had become a movement.
The Results: A Nationwide Wave of Cricket Passion
The numbers speak for themselves:
- More than 300 videos on TikTok
- More than 100 videos on Instagram
- More than 30 videos on Facebook
We witnessed every version of cricket in Sri Lanka:
Professional-level training sessions.
Street cricket played barefoot after the rain.
Village playgrounds and community fields.
Indoor nets and school grounds.
Content from amateurs, semi-professionals, and passionate teams of all ages.
The diversity of entries proved one thing clearly:
Cricket is more than sport in Sri Lanka. It is identity, emotion, and pride.
Choosing the Winner: A Difficult Decision
With hundreds of submissions, selecting one winner was one of the most challenging parts of the initiative.
Many videos were emotional, creative, and high-quality.
But one stood out above all others.
The Mighty Ducks
The Mighty Ducks’ video captured everything Timeless Passion represents.
They are an amateur club with limited resources, but limitless heart.
They described how they sacrifice fuel money to attend training sessions, how their equipment is worn out, and how they continue to play with determination.
Their video was crafted with effort, storytelling, and authenticity.
It reflected exactly what we were searching for: passion for the game and commitment to the craft.
The Mighty Ducks are the clear winners of the Timeless Passion – Cricket Edition.
Prize Ceremony: December 1 in Sri Lanka
On December 1, our COO Nicola Cainero will travel to Sri Lanka to award the Mighty Ducks:
- Custom team jerseys for up to 21 players, included within the total prize value
- Cricket equipment and gear — all together worth LKR 700,000
- A live award ceremony in Colombo
- An official ceremonial cheque presented in person
This date also aligns with Timeless Tech’s presence at SiGMA Sri Lanka, marking a week of both technological innovation and community engagement.

This first edition achieved exactly that — and more.

In 2026, new regions, new sports, and new editions will continue this mission.
